Lanin Volcano rises up high from the rest of the Andes......

With aprox. 12.350 ft the Lanin Volcano gives the name to our National Park, being the highest peak in our area, dominates most of our west views, attracting our attention, and giving us a constant target to our cameras.....

"Siesta Time"

Anyone that visited Argentina knows about our "siestas", it's an important part of our tradition and a necessary decease during our fishing days, especially during late spring and most of the summer when the sun rises very early and sits later than 10:00 pm., and the fishing action is better between 10am and 2pm and the after 6:pm

Again, thanks Maria!

Back from Caleufu ......

Heading back to town after a 3 days float trip in late December, we stopped to check the trailer and rafts. It was a very warm afternoon, not too windy, we were tired but that could not stop us from taking this photo with such a nice light.

Hope you like it too

Just upstream from the little apple tree ......

It's really hard for me to imagine myself fishing the Malleo River upstream without been able to see the Lanin Volcano in the back

Floating the Collon Cura River ......

Jerry hooked a beautiful rainbow that jumped more than 5 times, I rowed the boat out from the main current to be able to slow down our drift and pick up the net, but when I left the oars and saw the clouds and sun behind, I had to grab the camera first.....

I'm sorry, the Lanin Volcano strikes again.....

Wading across the head water of the "Willows", in the Malleo River, late in the season (May), we were looking for rising fish that were just starting to move after some emerging BWO. Maybe a little bit cold yet for fishing, we stopped and took once again a picture of "the giant" all covered with fresh snow from the previous night....

The Red Gate ......

I probably took more than 100 photos of this famous pool on the Malleo upper section. For some reason, every time I stop to show scene to my clients, I take a new one.

This time the Picture was taken by Roberto, a good friend and client.
