DEC 2011 - BIG DRIES = BIG BROOKIES in slow motion!!!
It was one of those summer days where the dragon fly hatch could not be any better...
Bob and I decided to go and check this small lagoon, since after midday the river was quiet. I can't remember how many fish we landed, but the takes were so predictable that I was able to take some SLOW MOTION images on this huge size brook trout. Everything on big foam dries, sight fishing!!! SO MUCH FUN

JAN 2011 - Big Brown takes a ADAMS #10
Marcelo and I found this big size brown, just quiet between some rocks in the upper part of the Malleo River. The cast was long and the drift almost impossible. Marcelo did the perfect cast, and FISH ON! The take was amazing, slow and precize. One of my favorite rises taken on video ever.... Great job Marce!!! - Upper MALLEO RIVER - San Huberto Lodge

DEC 2010 - Sue's 1st Big Brown fishing the Huaca Mamuil Stream
Just from the side road they were easy to spot... 2 large browns feeding side by side...
We picked up a foam beetle from my fly box, size 10, 3x tippet and 4 wt rod. Clear but moving water. Trout were active and compiting for food - you have to watch it yourself... ENJOY!

February is an interesting month, harder to predict fishing wise compared with other months. I was how but no so bad. We landed a good number of browns and rainbows. Basically was all sight fishing and dry flies. We used some size #16 and #20 Adams and Adams Female Patters. Malleo River

DEC 2006 - Rahm Emanuel fished with use - Tromen Lake
Landing a nice size rainbow in Tromen Lake. All sight fishing using dries and nymphs. Rahm Emanuel hooked several nice fish, but they kept breaking off.....This time he landed a beautiful rainbow! At that point we were really giving him a hard time…. He said I was tormenting him instead of being a nice "tour guide" plus a cuploe of bad words...

JAN 2007 - George G. Big Brown on the Chimehuin INCH WORMS
We were Sight fishing and I spotted this big brown feeding between some smaller rainbows in one of the Chimehuin River side channel.
The trout was very active, feeding constantly. She moved for the inch worm the first cast that landed close by, but then she refused the fly. We changed for a dry fly imitation of the adult worm, and bingo... TIPILIUKE Lodge
