Traveling for the first time to a country you don't know it's usually easier and you feel better if you have someone waiting for you at the airport that speaks your language, helps with your luggage, being very informative and friendly. For the last 8 years we have been working hand to hand with a big and experienced travel agent in Buenos Aires. There results are amazing. 100% reliable, fast, responsive if we need them to make changes in schedules, cancelations, etc. They use qualified English speaking tourism guides and new vehicles for the transfers and shuttle services. They are just great !! |

things to consider |
arriving to Argentina and travelling to Patagonia | DOMESTIC FLIGHTS Aerolineas Argentinas is today the only airline that is flying to Chapelco Airport (San Martin de los Andes). There are just 3 direct jet flights a week departing from Aeroparque Jorge Newbery (BA domestic flight airport) usually at 10:40am landing in Chapelco Airport at 1:º5PM. This might vary from season to season, so please double check this with us. Many of the international flights arrive into Ezeiza international airport (Buenos Aires) somewhere between 8 and 10 AM. The traveling time between airports can vary from 45 min to 1 hour, that means that there are almost no chances to go from one airport to the other and board in time for your domestic flight, unless your flight arrives earlier. So most of the anglers will need to spend a night in Buenos Aires, which is a great excuse to get to know this beautiful city, enjoy a nice hotel, and a have great dinner in one of it's first class restaurants. Some of our clients have enjoyed B.A. so much on their first trip that booked in many cases up to 3 nights for their next trip Please consider Bariloche airport and using LAN Chile as an option too! It requieres an extra shuttle once you land in Patagonia. Usually about 2 hours plus drive. |
For those who like nice and elegant hotels we recommend to try the Alvear Palace Hotel |
the departure day | Aerolineas Argentinas will depart from Chapelco Airport at 1:50PM landing at Aeroparque Jorge Newbery (BA) at 4:15PM that usually gives plenty of time to reach Ezeiza International Airport if you are taking the typical night flights home. We strongly recommend scheduling a shuttle service in advance between airports. You will be moving out to Ezeiza airport during the rush hour, and this transfer do this every day, so they know exactly what to do! |
Recomended hotels - we can help you making any bookings or you can just do it yourself. |
